Heart of Hail Alley
Quarter-sized hail does damage you can't see from the ground.
Hail shatters granule protection, cracks shingles, and dents flashing invisibly. A damaged roof doesn't always leak right away. Water finds its way in months later, and by then the repair costs far more than the original claim would have.
What we find
6 types of storm damage.
- 01Hail impact points and granule loss on shingles
- 02Wind damage, lifted or missing shingles
- 03Separated flashing around chimneys and vents
- 04Dented or pulled gutters and fascia

$6,800$24,300
Insurance offered me sixty-eight hundred after the hailstorm. Texas Vets came out with their drone, documented everything, and attended the adjuster meeting. My final settlement was $24,300. I only paid my deductible.
Looked fineFull replacement
My roof looked completely fine after the storm. The drone found fourteen impact zones per square that I never would have seen from the ground. Full replacement approved on the first submission.
DeniedApproved in 10 days
My claim was denied the first time. Texas Vets did a full drone inspection, wrote a rebuttal with their documentation, and my claim was re-approved for a full replacement within ten days. Don't give up on a denial.
Storm claim questions
Straight answers.
Real questions from North Texas homeowners after a hailstorm.
How do I know if my roof has hail damage?
Often you can't from the ground. Hail bruises shingles and knocks off the protective granules in ways that only show up on close inspection. Our free drone scan documents every impact point across the whole roof.
How long do I have to file a hail damage claim in Texas?
Texas law gives homeowners up to two years from the date of the storm to file a hail or wind claim. If you think it's too late, call us first before assuming your window has closed.
My insurance adjuster already came. Is it too late?
No. Adjusters miss damage all the time. We can perform an independent drone inspection and, if warranted, submit a documented rebuttal for a re-inspection.
What if my claim was denied?
A denial is not the end. We've had denied claims re-approved for full replacement after submitting a drone-documented rebuttal, sometimes within days.
Will filing a storm claim raise my rates?
Storm and hail claims are considered acts of nature, not driver-style fault claims. Rate impacts differ by carrier. We're happy to walk you through what to expect.
